If you truly want to get sober and you no longer want to suffer from your addiction, then you have to do something about it right away. Take their support as a gift and involve them with things that you do throughout your life. Try to show them that you are really trying to fight off your addiction and you want them to be by your side.

#4 - Develop a plan for success
If you truly want to get over your addiction, then you need to have a plan for success. You should be going to twelve-step programs and doing whatever you can to keep your mind in the right place. You are an addict and that means you're going to be an addict forever. You will need support your entire life and you need some type of plan for success forever. You can never give up on fighting this addiction, it's something you have to stay true to.
