People want to know what are going to happen in their future. Horoscopes help people in this matter. A horoscope is an astrological chart or diagram representing the positions of the Sun, Moon, planets, astrological aspects, and sensitive angles at the time of an event, such as the moment of a person's birth. The word horoscope is derived from Greek words meaning "a look at the hours". Astrological charts offer information about business, career, love, marriage, family earlier. For this, it use twelve different types of symbols for Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces. Astrological charts advise people to do work at proper time to get better result.
Its importance can be judged by the fact that the astrological charts are widely read all across the globe, in all cultures and nations. Most of the newspapers, magazines, webzines and portals etc. give space to the astrological charts due to its staggering demand. As per the Vedic astrology, the diagram that represents the positioning of planets in the solar system at the time of birth of a native is considered as a horoscope. However, some people prefer to call it birth-chart, because the common people have this conception that the predictions based on zodiac signs are called horoscope.

Though the main motive for reading horoscopes seems to be a desire to know what the future will be like, it can be said truthfully that a lot of people reading them do not really believe a word that is said. Instead, they read it for pleasure. It is certainly fun to read what an astrologer thinks will happen in the future for the twelve sun signs. And it is surprising just how many people read it for this very purpose.

When astrological charts readings are made, it is important to realize that planetary positions are gauged in relation to both the zodiac signs and the asteroids. There are many methods of charting the astrological charts houses. Astrological charts are circular, some rectangular, some like formations and others in geometrical forms but they all represent the 360 degree of the celestial horizon. The astrological chart or natal chart consists of twelve houses. Each house of astrological chart has been divided into sections and each section is associated with various deities as a specific purpose.

The study of the horoscopes helps the astrologer to arrive at certain inferences. The inferences are said to be valid when they are always justified by the evidence which is provided in support of them. For an example, in a given horoscope, an inference is drawn regarding the long time of the person, this has to be justified by the combinations is in the birth chart of the person. But there are also times when there are inferences made which do turn out to be true but they might not be valid or justifies.

Any astrologer needs to predict the pros and corns in a birth chart and he must have the inferential ability to interpret the birth charts and above all the astrologer needs to have spiritual equipment.
