What is moral character? Do we need moral character to live a good and prosperous life? Moral character is a set of qualities that make somebody or something distinctive, especially somebody's qualities of mind and feeling.
It's innate qualities that make somebody or something interesting, or attractive. When you are seeking to achieve, what you do and say, or how you display your appearance is a great part of your accomplishment. This is your public reputation that is on display to others and it will be judged by others. This will determine your intentions, and how people will judge you.
The greatest character of them all is called Attitude. The right attitude will draw the right people to you.
Let's look at an attitude that is poor in spirit.
Poor in spirit simply means to realize that nothing you have is more important than achieving your set goal. Knowing this, your attitude should be willing to part with anything you have if it hinders you from receiving.
This is why, even Jesus said, "No one of you can be my disciple who does not give up all his own possessions." (Luke 14:33 KJV) When you have the attitude that you are willing to give up whatever it takes to be successful, it will produce great result.
It has been said that your attitude determines your altitude. Attitudes are the established ways of responding to people and situations that you would have learned, based on your belief in the values and assumptions you hold. Attitudes become manifested through your behavior.
If you take that same attitude and use it towards achieving your goals, nothing could, or would be able to prevent you from your final destination. Anything that stops your progress will be deemed a hindrance.
Relatives, friends, objects, idols, ideas etc, could be hindrances if it stands in your way of productivity. The most important thing is what you are willing to give up to achieve and accomplish effectively.
Is it worth giving up your hindrance in obtaining what you're seeking after? This is where you make a vital decision of which is more important to you: Your goals or your hindrances.
Attitudes drive behavior! Your body language is a result of your mental attitude. Whatever you think and mediate on will eventually show up. When choosing your attitude you emit that mood and send out a message everyone understands, consciously or unconsciously. In others words your attitude is your first line of exposure to a person.
Attitudes concerning moral character are a cord of ethics and a standard of conduct that everyone should live by, especially if you are a believer in living a good and prosperous life. You must keep in mind, that these attitudes contrast good values with negative values. To achieve success, positive attitudes must be used as a whole and not individually.
A few words of consideration concerning your attitude.
Ø Consider acting respectfully at all times. This will allow you to achieve success faster and more easily.
Ø Using greater inner power and strength to be honest towards all people an important priority.
Ø The abuse of your power and privilege has no place in your attitude. Use the ability to inspire and motivate yourself and others
Ø Avoid causing anybody harm, instead actively seek to do good. This will result in fewer difficulties you encounter along the way
It's not what happens to you that counts; it is how you react to what happened to you, especially with any unexpected problem. What you have to do is get an attitude to learn and master powerful strategies that can be used to keep yourself thinking and acting positively and creatively.
