Your Unstoppable Force Awakened

If you and I are similar in any way, then I'm willing to bet that we both share a somewhat insatiable appetite for self-improvement. Me? I've been into it ever since I was 15 when I read my first self-improvement classic How to Win Friends And Influence People by Dale Carnegie.

I've read countless other self-mastery books since that time and continue to do so weekly. It is a deeply fulfilling feeling to enrich yourself with knowledge that can bring you a much more meaningful life. I'm sure you know the feeling.

And you know what? After over a decade of reading, spending money on courses, practicing what was given me, learning new skills and joining countless "business opportunities", I still felt frustrated, depressed, and despaired that I may have to work for someone else the rest of my life. In essence, I was getting nowhere, despite all of the "improvement" I had supposedly integrated.

If you haven't felt this way before, then you've probably heard about someone feeling this way and then finding their way to riches. And I don't mean just material wealth. There is also emotional abundance, physical vitality, spiritual wisdom.

These are the true riches. Money is just a well-oiled mechanism to help achieve some of those things.

In any case, yes, the story is a common one. Someone who was frustrated, angry, depressed, suffering - somehow finds his or her way out of the darkness.

How did they do it?

I'd read these accounts, the stories, the motivational experiences and I'd understand what it took intellectually. I read it over and over in countless books, books which all relayed the same basic message - becoming an expert, taking massive action, and persistence. Those are basically it.

However... I still didn't really GET it. I'd read the same message over and over, but it didn't sink in. And there was a reason for this.

Many of these self-improvement courses do not mention the catalyst, the predecessor that comes before the gigantic leap into the new life that transcends this frustration, anger and despair I spoke of previously.

This one catalyst will change everything if you let it. It will completely transform how you think, what you do, how you do it. It can be the precursor to a new "You".

What is this catalyst?

The one catalyst that finally got me to exorcise all the excuses - whether it was my mood, not thinking my efforts were worth it, procrastination, depression, frustration or what have you - was becoming FED UP.

I got fed up with not having enough money, time, and ability to enjoy both. I was sick of using methods that yielded me little to no results and just left me frustrated, even angry. I was bitter and disappointed at how long I had been "working", and the only thing I had to show for it were mediocre results.

Now understand that "fed up" doesn't mean annoyed or even angry. No. This was a deep sense of frustration, of disgust and anger all rolled into a bitter burrito. It was a burning urgency that NEEDED resolution.

I became livid at myself for being such a fool, for knowing so much and yet failing to meet up to my higher standards for so long. My inner pain had finally caught up to me and I'd had enough.

There came a point of critical mass when all that frustration, anger, and disappointment simply surfaced into a laser-focused desire to achieve, no matter what. If I had to work 18 hours a day 7 days a week, I would do that. If I had to spend $1000 on advertising in order to earn $1050, so be it. I would do anything and everything short of selling my grandmother to be done with the nagging feeling that my life was going to be that of an automaton.

I was totally fed up with my personal situation and I HAD TO CHANGE.

This culmination of feelings enabled me to transcend them and develop a pregnant resolve.

I couldn't take being frustrated anymore. I was fed up with being fed up. And when you can't take it anymore, you MUST change. As Tony Robbins puts it, "This is when the pain becomes your friend."

This absolute "MUST CHANGE" attitude will do it. But it's not an "okay, I've changed, now let me go surf the internet for entertainment" kind of change. This is no light matter.

No, this is a deep, soul-jarring sense of unquenchable desire, fortitude, and "CAN DO". It simply MUST be done and NOW. There is no alternative. You can feel it swirling through your body, like a fiery phoenix of willpower and resolution in your chest.

This level of resolve is what develops from becoming fed up with your circumstances. Totally fed up.

And this is what happened to me. I had become totally frustrated, and developed limitless resolve as a result. I had awakened an Unstoppable Force.

Allow me to save you 10+ years of frustration. You can do this, too, RIGHT NOW.

If you aren't satisfied with where you are, start channeling your energies into becoming fed up with your situation. Think of all of the things, experiences, people, and environments you have denied yourself by sticking with your old ways of doing things. Do you procrastinate? Watch too much TV? Surf the internet, waste time? Hang out with friends too much? Smoke?

Really think about this. Develop your frustration. Stop reading and do this now.

If you were honest with yourself and thought about it, you'll notice you became frustrated. You need to use this frustration to catapult you to higher levels where frustration no longer serves you. You instead feel resolve, industry, fulfillment, and much more.

Until you do this, you will be doomed to the banality of limited results. After you do it, everything will have changed.

You will have awakened your Unstoppable Force. It's up to you.

So, there you have it. The secret is out. Yes, most of the self-improvement programs out there are right. They come from people who have walked this exact path but haven't really spelled it out for the rest of us who may still be experiencing it.

Harness your pain, transcend it, and prosper!
