Why we quarrel with Children?

Children are a blessing. The joy they can bring to a family has no bounds. They fill our hearts with happiness. But it is not easy to raise a child. This can be a big challenge, especially when they are in their learning stages, because that is when their mind starts to question everything around. So sometimes, it can be very difficult to deal with kids too. They are innocent and they don’t know how the world works. Their minds are very delicate. The personality of children is very impressionable. And all this difficulty sometimes causes us to lose our temper, and get into an argument or a fight with children, even though we know it is futile. But one is not able to control the frustration at such times.

The minds of the children are very fragile. It is difficult for them to comprehend the concepts which might seem normal or easy to a grown up. Explaining things to them can be very difficult. Sometimes their questions and curiosity appears cute and innocent. But constant questioning and asking for explanations on their part can get really frustrating at time, which makes us lose our temper momentarily.

It is good for children to be physically active. This helps in the optimum growth of their bones and muscles, and playing games boost their aptitude as well. But some children are hyperactive, and their games take the form of nuisances. The small antics and naughty games can be troublesome. There comes a point when it is no longer possible for us to stay calm and composed, and we react angrily at them.

Raising children is a full time job. You don’t get any day off or a vacation from it. But sometimes, you might feel like you need a small break from it, a little time off. It can get a little overwhelming, and then, even the smallest of things might trigger you. You might not be able to keep your cool at times like these. And it is completely understandable and normal. We can very easily manage the situation in a different way. The first and foremost is talking about this to someone you have confidence in. If you ever feel overwhelmed by all this, you can always contact Living In Wellbeing. We will always be there to help.
