Why we are Stressed?

Today’s life has become very hectic. Almost everyone has ten to twelve hours of work. Everyone is in a struggle for success. People want a good job, a career, financial stability and security, and they put in all their efforts to fulfill this goal. In all this hustle and bustle, we don’t get time for ourselves, our family or our loved ones anymore. There is a void formed by a lack of emotional satisfaction. This causes stress to build up.

Success in life requires time and dedicated efforts. You have to work hard with patience and hope if you want to achieve something in life, and giving up is not an option. Each day becomes a struggle for a better and progressive tomorrow. But this can sometimes be a little overwhelming. It drains you of your relaxation. It can lead to frustration and anger and causes you to feel stressed.

Talking to people we are close to keeps us calm, relaxed and happy. It takes our mind off of the worries and frees us of all the stress. But in such a busy life, we are unable to take time out for the people we love.  So, all of our emotions get bottled up. We keep our emotions to ourselves and are not able to share our feelings with anyone.  And everyone needs to vent and talk their heart out now and then and the lack of it causes emotional distress and tension.

Above the fact that we don’t have time for our loved ones, the worse thing is that we don’t have time for ourselves either. We have no time to relax and take our minds off of the worries we have. Pursuing your hobbies ad doing the things that you love helps you to be happy, satisfied and relaxed. But the sad thing is we don’t have time for the things we love anymore.

The stress of work and personal life can drain us of our capability to work and be happy. So, it is very important that we take some time off, spend some quality time with our loved ones and do the things that make us happy.
