Why do evil things happen to good people?

The good and bad things happen in life like any other thing that occurs in nature. But when bad things happen to good people, the first thought that strikes our mind is whether goodness in life is of any use or not. We often see or hear that most of the time bad things happen to good people. Good people often suffer from evil, suffering, injustice and inequality. The reason can be bad luck or that they came across not so good people in life.

Society is often cruel to innocent and good-hearted people. Most of the people in society look for taking advantage of others and in the process, good people suffer the most. The problem with good people is that they are too good. They believe that everyone in society is as good as they are and trust them blindly. In the end, they get cheated and their trust gets broken.

Good people are often victims of exploitation and corruption. People with wrong intentions find them easy targets and take advantage. Despite knowing the wrong going around good people prefer to remain quiet and suffer as victims. In the whole process, the feelings and emotions of good people get affected badly and they start changing their attitude towards society.

What society needs to understand is that exploiting, cheating, or doing any fraud will make good people bad. This is probably the most common reason why we do not come across good people more often. We take good people for granted and use them for our benefit. To have a good society, we must learn to respect and be honest with the people around us. This can be achieved by treating people the way we want to get ourselves treated.

As humans being what we can do is spread love and harmony. Make sure that wrongdoers are given the right punishment to retain trust in humanity. Only good people can make this planet a better place to live in. The best we can do is give them something good in return.
