One of the most important things to learn in order to live a healthy lifestyle is how to incorporate exercise into
everyday living. Just by changing a few habits, exercise can slip into the things you do every day and before you know it, you will be more active and healthy without even trying. That is the difference between being active because you have to, and being active because you choose to.

Start here:

Like I’ve said before, plan active date nights! ‘Dinner and a movie’ is a great way to relax, but mix it up by trying a sunset hike or paintball with friends. You’ll be surprised how invigorated you feel after wearing yourselves out:)
Take the ‘laziness’ out of everyday activities. I’m sorry to say it, but modern conveniences have made us lazy! Would it kill us to park more than 20 feet from the storefront or to carry our grocery bags rather than cart even the lightest loads? Try it. I promise, you won’t die.
Take the stairs. Unless you’re pressed for time, try to take the stairs. Nothing gets under my skin more than people without strollers or medical needs waiting to fill up an elevator at the mall. Think about it…the skinnies you just bought will look so much cuter on your stair-climbing tush:)
Get your kids moving, by example. When the neighbor kid calls, does anyone else’s kid ask for a ride to his house?? Teach your kids that they have legs by walking or riding bikes with them to play-dates and nearby errands.
None of these ideas take much effort, but starting to make moving a little more a part of your routine can make a big difference in overall health and fitness
