You can use your emotional intelligence to change your life in a way you can't even imagine.
We all have emotions. We all have emotional intelligence. You have to learn how to control your emotions to achieve the things you dream of. You must learn how to use your emotional intelligence in order to change your life.
Jim Rohn, the world famous motivational speaker of all times, is sure people have four main emotions that can lead to life-changing behaviors. He thinks human beings are able to control their emotional intelligence to bring results that can amaze to the limits of prediction.
Emotions are the most powerful forces inside you. Under the power of emotions, you are able to perform the most heroic or barbaric acts. And it is very important to learn how to control your emotions and how to use your emotional intelligence to act only in a heroic way and leave barbaric attitude far behind.
Jim Rohn puts it this way:
"To a great degree, civilization itself can be defined as the intelligent channeling of human emotion".
According to Rohn, emotions are fuel and the mind is the pilot, which together propel the ship of civilized progress. So as you can see, your job is to use your mind to control your emotions in a way that can bring you the success in every aspects of your life.
Jim Rohn thinks there are four basic emotions which cause people to act. The wise combination of them is able to lead you to the most incredible activities. If you allow these emotions to fuel your desire, you will have the power to change your life.
The first emotion that can change your life is disgust. You think the feeling of disgust is something negative? Oh no, you couldn't be more wrong.
The emotional intelligence in this case is all about turning this kind of feeling into something positive.
The truth is when you feel disgusted, you are in a state of your life when you don't feel so well. Your emotional intelligence should tell you then that you no longer can lead the life in a way that led you to this feeling. Enough is enough! I  have had it! And the process of changing your life is turned on.
The second emotion is decision. You see, it is far better to make a wrong decision than to not make one at all. Most of us need to be pushed to the wall to make decisions. And once you reach this point, you have to deal with the conflicting emotions that come with making decisions.
Your emotional intelligence should show you how to deal with desire.
The third emotion that can change your life when used properly. If you find in yourself strong desire enough, you will be able to reach to the stars in order to make things happen.
The last, but not least, emotion is resolve. If you choose to resolve something, you say: I will. And if you mean it, nothing can stop you. You don't say you think you do something. You say you will do it. Period. Resolve means promising yourself you will never give up.
