Positive Or Negative Attitude - It’s Your Call

Every day I am faced with difficult and demanding situations in my personal life as well as my work life. Many of these unpleasant circumstances cause me emotional pain and distress. Therefore, I am going to do everything I can to condemn you, ridicule you and make your life hell until you are just as depressed, angry and bitter as I am. You have a problem with that?

Could this be you? Oh dear! my friend, you need a reality check!

Positive Attitude Tip

No matter how bad of an attitude you develop for yourself, there are people all around you who have a positive attitude about life, and there's really nothing you can do to change them. They will not let you pull them down to your level. They realize they are responsible for their own mindset and choose to have a positive attitude outlook no matter how many bad-attitude people get in their way.

Furthermore, while you choose to react with nasty goings-on and resentment, it doesn’t change your problem. It is still there big as ever. So you see, as long as you choose to maintain a negative attitude, you are a helpless victim of circumstance.

How we doing on the self-esteem scale?

Are you a little tired these days, lacking in the energy department? Maybe you’re having some difficulty mustering up the momentum to get you through the tough parts of your day.

I’m willing to bet you probably don’t have a whole lot of fun either. When was the last time you had a good laugh? (At yourself, not someone else.) These are typical symptoms of low self esteem brought on by negative thinking and actions.

It’s been proven by research that people who seek ways to have a positive attitude are more productive, enjoy better health, carry less stress and are by and large more successful in life. When you choose to be pleasant and positive in the way you treat others, you are setting the stage for how others are going to treat you.

So, don’t you think it’s time to lose the attitude? A negative attitude is a habit that through repetition and conscious effort you have perfected. It’s time to change course. Eventually, a firm positive attitude will win out. But first you must make your choice: positive or negative attitude. What’s it going to be?
