There is a question that has been asked for decades regarding the existence of destiny. The word destiny or luck or fortune came into existence through the creation of the universe by a great explosion known as the Big Bang. The believers in destiny feel that whatever is happening around them will be determined at the moment of explosion. Destiny is believed to be the root cause of all the activities happening in the universe. Thus, destiny is responsible for everything and it is unchanging.
To be effective destiny needs to move forward on the path of logic based on a variety of factors. Some of us are sad, some happy, some successful, etc. all because of destiny. We all suffer due to our destiny. Talking scientifically, destiny is a self-created event dependent on numerous factors like space-time, situation, environment, etc. It becomes effective through action-reaction of traditional events, causation-reasoning and ultimately determines future events.
Those who believe in destiny, they are of the view that destiny is a kind of self-created program or involuntary force in the cosmic field. It came into existence at the beginning of the creation of the world during the start of the Great Explosion. Therefore, each event that is happening around us is due to various events that have a connection at the beginning of the creation of the universe. People having faith in destiny say that destiny is always active in different ways. It is inside and outside us, it is knowingly and unknowingly functioning around us. All our thoughts, actions, desires, etc. are the contribution of our destiny or fate and they are part of worldly activities.
People justify their faith in destiny by citing the example of different kinds of people in the world. Like some are fortunate, some are rich, some dishonest, etc. Behind all these traits there is no controller or determinant, it is a self-created mechanical system known as destiny. We all get and become what is written as our destiny. Destiny is therefore a virtual existence. It is the determinant of what will happen next, and then, traditionally, after each other. Everything that is happening and that will happen will be determined automatically by the moment of the Great Explosion or as we term it destiny.
On the other hand, some people do not believe in destiny. They refuse to believe its existence. They feel that everything that is happening in the world is because of the activity or work we do. They believe that destiny cannot do anything unless we work on our skills and work hard towards improving them. It is ultimately self-belief in own ability to become successful. No other external force can keep you away from achieving what you want when you are working hard for it. When we assume that fate is real or believe that we will achieve only what is written in our destiny, most people would stop working towards self-betterment and stop growing further.
Concluding whether destiny exists or not is still a debatable topic. It is entirely on the faith and belief of the person whether it exists or not. There can be two different schools to it, one is a believer and the other is a non-believer. There is no question of the right or wrong path.
