New relationships can bring about a whole new set of rules. What you were able to get away with in a long term relationship wont fly for a second. Read the following new relationship advice to know where you can go and where you should avoid treading.
Getting Sloppy
It usually doesn't take long for us to get comfy in a relationship and before long we are setting aside the heels and pretty dresses and pulling out our sweats and slippers. While you don't always have to be dressed to the nines when you are out with a new guy, there is not much room for slacking either.
Being the visual beasts men can be, it is important to light up his eyes every time he looks at you. Sure you want to be comfortable, but don't be a mess.
Honesty Policy
Of course being as honest as possible is best when you begin a new relationship, but some women push it too far. Criticizing a guy because you honestly think something is wrong with him won't win you many points.
Either you like the guy or you don't. Part of building a new relationship is learning to accept the good with the bad. Instead of constantly getting on his back about the things you don't like, it's up to you to decide whether this is the right guy for you or not.
Quick Booty Call
New relationship advice can at times be divided when it come to sex. Many who are very free spirited see no problem with jumping into bed with a man within a date or two, but it can often be viewed negatively by the very guy you are hopping into bed with.
Not that he won't appreciate the hot night of sex, but it can leave him with the impression that you are not serious about this relationship. Also, the thought is always there in the back of his mind; how many other men have you done this with.
Not a pleasant thought.
Talk Your Way Through
In the midst of a long term relationship, we take for granted that we can just easily talk about anything with our mate. We come home and lay out the happenings of the day, gossip idly about co-workers and complain about the weather without really thinking about it.
But the man in this new relationship of yours might not take too well to your gossip and winning. Be sure you are attentive to how he is receiving whatever you might have to say, and try to leave him a bit of the conversation as well.
Sometimes it can be worthwhile to be a little more interested in what he has to say instead of trying so hard to be interesting.
