Natural Spirituality moves you towards a stable peace of mind through inner transformation by attention to the esoteric side of life. It does not involve any DOs and DON’Ts. The inner serenity is a matter of deepening insight into life and not one of conformity, struggle and effort.
Life flows with a depth for those who step out of the conventional functioning of the mind. There is a serenity that forms the basis for understanding what lies beyond the apparent – a movement into the Unknown. Consciousness expands, creating space in our psycho-physical system. A natural consequence to this is the sensing of the loving presence of Divinity in and around one, unhindered by concepts, religious beliefs and preferred conclusions. There is an inner freedom that makes life vibrant and meaningful. Abundant feeling and respect flow towards everyone and everything, like a perennial spring.
The general human tendency is to let the mind rule the roost through its inherited and acquired conditioning. Unknowingly, we all get caught in this momentum and lose our lives in the rut that captures us early in our lives. At some stage, some of us become reflective and realize with a shock the damage done to our psycho-physical system as a result of succumbing to the psychological forces around us. Can we do something to get out of the rut? The answer lies not in falling a prey to some systems – religious or anti-religious – but in standing alone, free from all conditioning. That is like shining like a single star in a limpid sky. This issue is taken up in my book “In Quest of the Deeper Self” that can serve as a wayside companion to those who wish to explore the esoteric side of life. Details of the book can be found in the author’s website on Spirituality.
An important corollary issue, namely, the Near Death Experience, has a lot of spiritual content to it and can help people get over the fear of death and sense something beyond the apparent. Messages from such experiences expand our perspectives about death as well as life. Mental conflicts are dissolved and the zest for life increases. Unqualified compassion begins to rule our psychology. Interested readers may write to me for a profound article in this respect that appeared in the Reader’s Digest of 1974. I will send the article to them.
Those who feel drawn to the matter of Natural Spirituality may communicate freely with me for their own self-generated transformation and active growth in this field. That can be fun.
