Who would have thought that decade of the 1980s would have taught us so much about the subconscious mind. We watched high school and college kid’s break into their own worlds in the sixties and seventies, when drugs surfaced around the country. The central theme of the movie or the book is “The Laws of Attraction” and the theme in fact concerns mainly with the thoughts that change lives. It is the thoughts of the individual that is important. The Laws of Attraction enlightens us on the fact that we achieve all that we think.
The idea is that when you focus your mind on something, it attracts it to you. You don’t even have to be expending mental energy on this goal consciously in order for this effect to work; the power of mind works anyway!
If you’re having a hard time believing it, here is a great example of mind power at work. Many medical research performed involves the subconscious mind and the Placebo Effect. This is where you have a couple groups that are formed from volunteers that are paid for going through the experiment. They all suffer from the same problem, but separated into 2 groups and given two different pills. One group is given the real medicine and the other is given a placebo. The best part about it is neither group knows that one of them is getting something different. Then the medical team studies the results.
Undoubtedly you have seen people ‘think’ themselves sick, and you have seen them ‘think’ themselves well. Our mind power is incredible.
We do this kind of thing to ourselves all the time. For instance, when you wake up thinking that this is going to be ‘one of those days'; and it turns out to be a bad day.
All the above incidents happen because they are directly linked to the thoughts that are coming to our mind at that point of time. So the mind plays a definite part in shaping a day or our lives.
Science and its theories have proved time and again that our mind is a storehouse of immense possibilities. Quantum physics in this regard have showed us that at the sub atomic level there is no existence of matter and it is energy that exists everywhere at that level. It also says that the presence of the energy is solely because of the observer which thus proves that mind being the observer is immensely powerful and can do magnificent things.
You’ve probably seen television shows, movies, or even reality documentaries like ‘The Secret,’ that deals with ESP, Telepathy, Remote Viewing, and Psychic phenomenons.
As crazy as it seems – everything around you is a creation of your subconscious mind. You think about it and it happens.
We as individuals never really give it a thought of how to actually use our mind power for the betterment of our lives. However this act in fact will prove healthier since if we do put our mind to good use , we will ultimately be able to achieve all that we desire in life. Once the goal is set, focus your mental actions on achieving that goal. Keep the effort constant; don’t do it in bursts and lags.
A great way to be able to focus on the good things is by using affirmation. If you can focus everything on obtaining your goals, the power of the subconscious mind will take advantage of the situation. Sure it may difficult to grasp at first, but it’s only because it seems so simple.
So by using the full power of your mind on attaining that goal it eventually becomes a reality. This seems very difficult to grasp but not because it is difficult but because it seems too easy!
Imagine completely altering your life by actively taking part in the influence your mind has on your reality. Say that you wanted a new house. You want that new house so much that it almost becomes an obsession. You think about it all the time, you have even planned the landscape and the color of the master bathroom.
Everywhere we go, our thoughts must be converge on the goal set. It may be the mortgage or the paints and our energies should also work in same lines.
By focusing on this goal and putting your mental energy towards your objective, you can make it happen – don’t be too surprised when your dream home goes on the market and your offer is accepted; and you even get just the right mortgage. It is the power of the mind which has made this come about, not simply good luck.
What it comes down to is that we believe in ourselves to a certain extent. When the time comes that you feel as though something will be impossible, it’s time to tap into the subconscious mind. If you can do this, it won’t be long before you start experiencing the positive energy that is built around you.
