Since childhood we have been brought up listening to our elders that health is wealth and therefore we should take care of our health as well as be conscious about even a minor change which may have major repercussions on our health if not treated at the right time. 21st century is the age of never ending stress as a result of competition and survival at workplace and we all know that we live in an age where survival of the fittest is the guiding mantra but many a times for this survival we end up sacrificing many things, our health being one amongst them. Stress is the principle cause of many diseases such as diabetes and cardiovascular ailments which affect the blood vessel system or the network of veins and arteries. Some common heart disease symptoms are chest pain, heart palpitations, dizziness, fainting, loss of consciousness, fatigue, lethargy as well as shortness of breath and anyone facing those symptoms should immediately consult a doctor. Heart disease is an umbrella term for a number of diseases related with heart such as coronary heart disease, cardiomyopathy, ischaemic heart disease, heart failure, hypertensive heart disease, inflammatory heart disease and valvular heart disease.

Excessive weight gain also increases the chances of contracting cardio vascular diseases and diabetes so it is important to keep our weight under control. Weight can be kept under control by doing simple exercises such as jogging, skipping, yoga whereas some people prefer joining a gym to not only stay slim but also fit. In addition to this one can also take the help of many weight loss supplements which are available in the market but these commercially available weight loss supplements should be selected with extreme caution so that there is no side effect after their consumption. One can also go for herbal weight loss supplements where the chances of side effects are relatively less and in the opinion of many people herbal remedies are far more effective than those chemically composed. Health is indeed wealth as our elders used to say when we were kids and to live a happy life it is important to love oneself before we love anybody else.
