What does it take to awaken a super mind?

Or, is it even possible to have a super mind in our world today as we are bombarded with so much information and outside stimuli?

I mean, let's face it. What are we all on these days?

What we are all on is emotional, physical, mental, and not to mention, technological overload. Even those of us that make self-care a priority are feeling the extreme stressors of living on the planet at this time.

When we think of our personal well-being, we cannot neglect our minds. We can provide proper nutrition, meditation, and various brain exercises to keep our minds healthy and strong, but considering what we are facing today- is this even enough anymore?

Introducing brainwave entrainment- a tool that can be very effective in coaxing our super minds out of hiding.

Brainwave entrainment is a technique in which the brain is induced to follow a certain frequency. By playing certain tones in the ears, the brain responds by following the tone frequencies and dropping down into the corresponding brainwave frequency.

Imagine slipping on some headphones, and heading into a dreamy state where relaxation comes quickly.

Brainwave entrainment dates back around seventy years ago, with it's use as an actual tool beginning in the 1960's; think dental office and calming of the patient. Although there is much evidence and growing popularity for brainwave entrainment today, it still remains very open to skeptical criticism.

As with anything, you have to experience it for yourself.

Below is a brief description of each frequency translated into situations in every day life.

Gamma-

Gamma is the highest mental activity of 40 cycles per second or higher. This is the state of extreme alertness, critical problem solving, high-level processing and conscious thinking. It is the least researched of the brain states.

Beta-

Beta is the active state of the brain. Concentrated work, conversing with others, alertness, teaching, and public speaking are all beta brainwave activities. This brainwave state corresponds with a frequency ranging from 15 to 40 cycles per second.

Alpha-

Alpha is a more relaxed brain state. This is the daydreaming, creative state of brainwave activity, or a light, meditative state. Visualization happens in the alpha brainwave state and it is characterized at a speed of 9 to 14 cycles per second.

Theta-

Theta is a state we fall into automatically in certain rote situations-like driving a familiar course, during a jog or walk, or performing household chores. The theta state is a powerful, but slower brainwave state of 5 to 8 cycles per second. It is considered to be a positive mental state that is flowing, and free from critical thinking and judgments.

Delta-

Delta is a state of 1.5 to 4 cycles per second. This is the state of sleep and also the state associated with healing. A zero state would be no brain activity and the brain would be dead. If dreaming begins, then the theta state has become dominant again.

Brainwave entrainment can assist in bringing you into the dominant alpha state, on down. In the states of alpha and below, the brain can be given hypnotic suggestions that go directly to the subconscious. If we can re-train our brains, so to speak, to fall into these frequencies and give them hypnotic suggestions, then reprogramming our lives in a more conscious way would be a logical outcome.

There are many benefits and options for brainwave entrainment software. It's best to do the research and choose what appears to be a good match for your particular needs and desires.
