We recently interviewed Aimee Elizabeth on our show.

And…she told us about a difficult time-period early in her life…

Her parents essentially kicked her out of the house when she was just a teenager and Aimee ended up having to work full time to pay for a place to live and put food on her table and go to school full time as a normal teen.

But guess what?

These early difficulties in her life may have been the very best things that ever happened to her!

Why?

Because during this time, Aimee realized that if she wanted a better life she’d have to create it for herself.

So what did she do?

She decided that she wanted to create a life where she’d receive lots, and lots of checks in the mail instead of bills. So, soon she quit her job and began her own business. This ultimately led to a series of entrepreneurial successes…and now she’s a self-made multimillionaire.

There’s so much to learn from her experience and we’ll share it with you here. These are 5 essential keys to follow if you want to know how to become rich:

1 – Confidence, Confidence, Confidence.

No great accomplishments were ever achieved without confidence. If you’re going to venture out into the business world to make real money and become rich you’re going to need to believe in: yourself, your ideas, your abilities, and your destiny.

You have to know deep down inside that you’re destined to fulfill your dreams.

Confidence is incredibly easy to have when you remember the simple truth that we humans (including you) were created in God’s image and likeness. And…can you really imagine God not having confidence?

Exactly.

So remember where you came from and never forget that you’re a perfect creature of a perfect God…This will keep your confidence up during trying times.

…and if when you look in the mirror you don’t see yourself as this “perfect, “God-like” being, then read A Guide To Your Supreme Power here.

2 – You won’t make real money on it if you’re not passionate about it.

If you want to know how to become rich, know this:

Business can be incredibly challenging (and incredibly rewarding). But to get to the reward you’ll face some challenges. That’s a normal part of the process you need to go through to get good at what you’re trying to do…

So remember this: Never enter a business “just for the money.”

Because only real passion has the power to sustain you during difficult, stressful, or challenging times (and they’ll be there).

No passion, no endurance, no success.

So, find what you’re passionate about and then figure out how to make money from it. Not the other way around.

3 – Steer clear of retail space.

If you’re looking to become rich by venturing out on your own…(having your own business is an excellent way to become rich) remember this: DON’T OPEN RETAIL SPACE.

Why not?

Because building your business will likely take a bit longer than you initially expect. And having to pay the rent for a retail space is usually what puts people under financially and prevents them from succeeding.

The trick to starting a successful business (that ultimately shows you how to become rich) is to begin an enterprise that has low overhead. This means your monthly expenses – in the beginning especially – should be minimal (hint: commercial retail space rent is never minimal).

Then…later if you choose to, once you’re up and running on solid footing, open retail space if that’s really what you want to do.

4 – Don’t invest in something you don’t “get.”

If you want to become rich, make sure you don’t ever invest in anything you don’t understand.

Think of it this way:

If someone can’t explain something to you in 5 minutes, using language a ten year old could understand, then don’t invest your money in it.

This also refers to point # 2 above: Have the confidence to trust yourself and your judgment. Never believe someone else’s judgment above your own if you don’t genuinely, wholeheartedly agree.

And remember…it won’t be a “missed opportunity” as someone trying to sell you something might claim…

Always trust the process of life and trust your own judgment. What’s financially right for someone else to invest in might not be right for you. And that’s OK.

5 – Don’t let success get to your head.

After lots of blood, sweat, and tears you’ll have made it. As long as you stick with something, never give up, and give it your all — you’ll be there.

That’s just the way this world works.

So once you’re rich and have “arrived” at your dreams and goals, remember not to let arrogance and related thought tendencies cloud your judgment.

Some of the most successful people have earned it all and then lost it all because their arrogance got in the way of their better judgment. Their decision-making skills suffered because they thought they knew everything. This even happened to Trump a few times ‘til he learned better.

Don’t let this be you.

Always remember, there are other people who are equally intelligent. Everyone has something to share. You will never get to a point where you know “everything.” Don’t lose sight of or respect for your fellow humans… if anything ‘give back’ to your community, your society, and those less fortunate than you.
