Family and friends may unknowingly – or even knowingly – provide pressure that undermines your sobriety. Temptation is everywhere accompanied by unwise advice, like “just one beer won’t hurt.” Many uninformed people don’t understand the ongoing struggle or the will power needed to continue on a successful path of recovery.
The following tips will help you remain sober, no matter what your summer plans include.
1. Think about your vacation destination – If you are recovering from an alcohol addiction, you probably do not want to cruise or stay somewhere (like Vegas) where drinking is one of the main attractions.
